At the completion of the first quarter of 2009, (January 1, 2009 – March 31, 2009) the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Office of Public Safety (OPS) has begun to produce an enhanced version of the Evidential Breath Test Last Drink Location Report. The report will now be available to law enforcement officials via eJusticeNY within the Law Enforcement Services suite. OPS will produce and post these reports on a quarterly basis.
The reports are a compilation of data derived from Breath Test Instruments from participating agencies across the state. The information contained in these reports has proven invaluable in our continued effort to rid the roadways of New York State of impaired drivers and we consider it our mission to assist wherever possible by utilizing technology and data to its fullest extent. By utilizing the Bookmark function within Adobe Acrobat, agencies can drill down on their particular County and locality. You are encouraged to share this data with the law enforcement professionals in your county, however, please keep in mind that this is sensitive information and must be disseminated accordingly.
These reports are the direct result of the cooperation and coordination of local and state law enforcement in their shared vision to improve the overall safety of New York State roadways.
